Local Transportation

From the Hong Kong International Airport:

By Airport Express and MTR

Take the Airport Express service to go from Airport (機場) Station to Tsing Yi (青衣) Station, Kowloon (九龍) Station, or Hong Kong (香港) Station, where you can transfer to the MTR (地鐵) for Kowloon Tong (九龍塘) Station next to the City University. By Bus

Take the public bus Route E22 at the airport bus terminal. Get off at Shek Kip Mei Park (石硤尾公園) Station on Cornwall Street in Kowloon Tong and then walk to the City University campus. Click here for more information about the public bus routes at the airport.

By Taxi

Take a red (not green) taxi at the airport going directly to the City University. Click here for details. For the information about estimated taxi fare, click here.

From Lo Wu (羅湖) Station:

Take the MTR East Rail (東鐵) Line and get off at Kowloon Tong (九龍塘) Station next to the City University. Click here for details.

Octopus Card (八達通)

It is a stored-value card accepted by almost all public transport and retail shops for payment. For further details, visit the Octopus website.

Visa

Travelers may require a visa to enter Hong Kong. Check for the entry requirements at the Immigration Department of Hong Kong.

Participants requiring a letter of invitation for application for visa should write to the Organizers of ICPLC-2013 by email providing the following information:

  • Name
  • Title of the accepted paper

Notes.
(i) Registration payment must be made before requesting an invitation letter.
(ii) The invitation letter does not imply financial support from the conference.

Travel Insurance

The Organizers of ICPLC-2013 do not hold any responsibility for the individual medical, travel, or personal insurance for the participants in the conference.

Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to travel and personal insurance.
